Who We are

Woman Favored is a charity organisation that support survivors of domestic abuse by providing tools to help them reach their potential and regain balance.

Our Mission Statement

We exist to support all women who survived domestic abuse or at risk. To work towards creating a society that is safe for women to enjoy their human rights. To represent Jesus in our work by speaking the truth in God’s word.

Our vision

We envision a world where the rights of women are respected. A world where domestic abuse is no longer tolerated.

Our Values

  • We provide Christ-centred counselling.
  • We are open and inclusive to all women who need help.
  • We put the needs of survivors at the centre of our services.
  • We provide empowerment centred services.

Our Mission

  • To speak up against domestic abuse.
  • To do advocacy for survivors.
  • To walk with survivors on their journeys to recovery.
  • To educate communities about domestic abuse.

Empowering the survivors

We know the devastating impact of experiencing domestic abuse. Therefore, we want to see the survivors fulfilling their potential, and becoming their true authentic selves that God designed them to be. We provide opportunities for survivors to share their burdens by speaking to our counsellors. Our programmes are led by those who have expertise in domestic abuse. Those who have lived experiences domestic abuse. We take the biblical perspective in counselling the survivors. We devote a space for Christian women to ponder because we know they experience domestic abuse differently, while also deal with it differently.

The Network of survivors

We recognise that the survivors need someone to walk the journey with them as they rebuild their lives and moving towards the future that God has promised them. Our Survivors' Network is an online community that creates a safe space for survivors to explore the questions and challenges they face, letting them know that they're not alone.

The network of survivors exists to help individuals find support, while also support one another through blogs, and peer support groups.

A handbook for survivors

We have a Survivor's Handbook that you can trust. It provides crucial information and support to survivors of domestic abuse from a Christian perspective.
